Decatur Green Fest Presented by Bonterra Vineyards Promises Green Education, Music, Food and Fun!

The City of Decatur is proud to announce Decatur Green Fest, presented by Bonterra Vineyards, and hosted by the Dogwood Alliance, to be held on Saturday, May 2 from 3 pm until 9:30 pm. The event kicks off the annual Concert on the Square Series presented by Wachovia, and features a day of earth friendly family fun and music featuring Deep Blue Sun, with an evening concert presented by Half-Moon Outfitters at 7pm. Alpharetta Encourages everyone to turn lights off

The City of Alpharetta is encouraging all residents and businesses to help raise awareness of the need to conserve energy by turning off the lights in their homes and businesses for one hour on March 28 from 8:30 until 9:30 PM.  Alpharetta is joining more than 930 cities in 80 countries to promote Earth Hour, a global campaign to raise environmental awareness.
Earth Hour is a global campaign coordinated by the World Wildlife Fund that began in Sydney, Australia in 2007, when 2 million people switched off their lights.  Worldwide participation …
