Level 100 – Sustainability, Green Basics & LEED is a focused 1/2 day seminar that offers participants:
- a broad introduction and background in the sustainability movement at every level of the community: household, business, neighborhood and nation;
- a discussion of how each of us will be affected by the emerging social, political and economic impacts of sustainability, new roles, jobs and careers;
- a review of existing forces and rating systems in sustainability including components of the Economic Recovery Act, federal agencies, EnergyStar, Green Seal, ASHRAE, ASTM, and more
- an introduction to the U.S. Green Building Council and the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program (LEED) including professional accreditation and building certification, Version 3 (2009);
- insight into where you fit into the new Green market and how to position yourself to best meet the market as citizens, leaders and officials.
