NightFall Halloween Festival Saturday, Oct 24, 2009 6 PM to 9 PM

Enter the nighttime forest for a fun, non-scary adventure. Learn about nocturnal creatures from animal-costumed naturalists and collect some treats along the way. See a live animal program, make some crafts, listen to a storyteller, have your face painted and gaze at the stars through our telescopes.

Admission: Non-members $5, Members $3

Directions:
From Atlanta on I-85:
I-85 N to I-985 toward Gainesville.
Take Exit 16 – Oakwood. Turn right off the ramp, get in left lane and turn left onto GA Rt. 13 (Atlanta Hwy). Continue north past South Hall Middle School and Chicopee Woods Golf Course on the right.
Elachee Drive is the next street to the right.

From the North on I-985/365:
Take Hwy. 365/I-985 south to new Exit 17 – Oakwood. Turn right onto GA Rt 13 (Atlanta Hwy). Turn left onto Atlanta Hwy. (Hwy 13).
Pass the Chicopee Woods Golf Course on the right.
Elachee Drive is the next street to the right.

From Hwy. 400:
Take Exit 17 for Gainesville/Hwy. 306.
Turn east onto Hwy. 306.
At the 3rd traffic signal turn right onto Hwy. 369.
Travel 10+ miles toward Gainesville. Go through major intersection and traffic signal at McEver Rd. Continue straight on Hwy. 369.
At next traffic signal turn right onto Memorial Park Drive. Go to end of road.
Turn right (south) onto Atlanta Hwy (Hwy 13).
Elachee Drive is on the left after the railroad overpass and water tower.
