A recent segment spotlights Crystal Organics, a certified organic Garden of Eden, situated an hour east of Atlanta in Newborn, Ga. Nicolas Donck farms this land with plant and human wellness in mind. Seems he was once a sickly lad in Belgium who regained his health when his mother changed to organic foods. Now, from among his fields of greens and rows of greenhouses, Donck has contributed much to Georgia’s organic farming scene, even starting Atlanta’s first organic farmer’s market in 1995.
