Earth Day Events at Imagine It!

100% Recycled, 100% Fun
Saturday, April 18 at 12 PM
Children celebrate Earth Day by learning how they can make a green impact! The Imaginators will read “The Wartville Wizard” by Don Madden which is about an old man who is given power over trash and orders litter to go back and stick to the person it came from. Children will decorate their very own totally green paper birdhouse out of 100% post-consumer recycled paper.

Clean Air Odyssey
Saturday, April 18 at 1 PM
The Imaginators perform a science-fiction play, “Clean Air Odyssey,” that celebrates positive choices children can make in day-to-day life that make for cleaner, healthier air.

EPA Hosts Earth Day Activity Stations
Saturday, April 18 from 10 AM-3 PM
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will host an asthma coloring station with the “Dusty the Asthma Goldfish” Funbook, an environmental bingo station, and a flower planting station.
