The City of Decatur is proud to announce Decatur Green Fest, presented by Bonterra Vineyards, and hosted by the Dogwood Alliance, to be held on Saturday, May 2 from 3 pm until 9:30 pm. The event kicks off the annual Concert on the Square Series presented by Wachovia, and features a day of earth friendly family fun and music featuring Deep Blue Sun, with an evening concert presented by Half-Moon Outfitters at 7pm. The Third Annual Green Fest event, sponsored by Dogwood Alliance in downtown Decatur, promises to be the best one yet.  A day of stellar music highlights the day along with great local food, Terrapin Beer, Equal Exchange fairly traded products, artists, children’s fun, and general merry making to benefit Dogwood Alliance and the Decatur Preservation Alliance.
Their partners for the event include the City of Decatur, Southeast Green, Eddie’s Attic, The  Brickstore Pub, Paste Magazine, Tree Sound Studio, and Terrapin Beer Company.
