Earth Day Kids Fest at the Chattahoochee Nature Center

The 8th Annual Earth Day Kids Fest (EDKF) sponsored by Captain Planet Foundation (CPF), Chattahoochee Nature Center (CNC), Macy’s and Comcast promises to be education and fun rolled into one! Coming in October is the HOTOBERFEST

The HotoberFest (Oct 3rd, 12-7pm) raises funds that are donated to support the efforts of three local non-profit groups: Trees Atlanta, Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper and Dialogue

Celebrating Southwest Atlanta’s Urban Forest A Family Urban Forestry Festival

Join the National Wildlife Federation (NWF), West Atlanta Watershed Alliance (WAWA), and friends to celebrate southwest Atlanta’s incredible urban forest and its native wildlife.  Meet urban forestry professionals and community partners including Trees Atlanta, the US Forest Service, Georgia Forestry Commission, Atlanta Audubon Society, Chattahoochee Nature Center, and others.  The festival will feature educational and entertaining exhibits, presentations, hands-on activities, food, and special giveaways by NWF and its partners.
